What Collectr does
Collectr is a collection-tracking app. You add the cards and sealed product you own, and the app keeps track of your collection and shows a price guide for it, so you can see what your collection is worth.
What the partnership means
MYNTED is an official partner of Collectr. Our sellers' listings show inside the app, so collectors who use Collectr can find items on MYNTED while they track their collection.
On MYNTED itself, our price guide comes from our Collectr partnership, and it is refreshed daily.
For buyers
When you bid, you see a price guide next to the item where available, and MYNTED sold history shows what the same card sold for. Use both to set your private maximum. Proxy bidding places bids for you up to that maximum, and extended bidding adds 60 seconds when a bid lands near the end.
There is no buyer's premium. Your saved card is charged the moment the auction ends.
For sellers
Listing from sell.mynted.me uses Collectr-powered search, which fills the title, description, picture and price guide. Daily Collectr refreshes keep the guide current. Your listing then reaches the Collectr app along with the six other channels.
There are no listing fees, and the commission at auction is a flat 10% with payment fees included. You get one payout.
What the price guide can and cannot tell you
A price guide is built from market data, so it reflects what a card is generally changing hands for. That is useful when you are deciding whether a listing looks fair, or whether your own card is worth the effort of selling.
It cannot see the card in your hand. It does not know about a bent corner, a rare printing mistake or a slab with a clean label. That is why MYNTED shows the condition or grade on every item, and why sold history sits beside the guide. Read the guide for the typical price and the item page for the details that move it.
How buyers and sellers use both together
A collector might track a set in Collectr, see an item from a MYNTED seller inside the app, and follow it through to bid. A seller might track what they hold in Collectr, then list the duplicates from sell.mynted.me with the title, description, picture and price guide filled in.
Because the price guide is refreshed daily, the number you see on a listing stays close to what the market is doing. It still does not replace the auction. It tells you where to start, and the bidding tells you where the card lands.
Where the price guide fits
A price guide is a reference, not a promise. The auction decides the price, and MYNTED sold history shows what collectors actually paid.
