What PSA grading is
PSA is a grading company. You send in a card, PSA checks it, gives it a grade, and seals it in a hard plastic slab with the grade and a cert number on the label. Collectors know the PSA label well, and the Grading Hub describes it as the most recognised grade in the world.
In the Hub, PSA has Regular, Express and Super Express tiers, plus Dual Auto for signed cards.
When PSA grading is worth it
Grading pays when a card is valuable, in very good condition, and you want to protect it or prove its condition. It rarely pays for a low-value card, because the cost can be more than the card gains.
Before you decide, check the card in the price checker. It shows a price guide and MYNTED sold history, so you can compare what the raw card sold for with what graded copies sold for. A grade is not a promise either, so check the card against the condition guide first.
How the MYNTED Grading Hub works
You choose the company and tier for each card, pay by card, and drop your cards off with us at the MYNTED store in Business Bay. That is one drop-off through us, instead of arranging shipping to a grading company yourself. Your account shows each batch and its status.
The Hub states PSA from AED 380 per card, with the exact tier, price and turnaround shown before you confirm. Treat the Hub as the source of truth for current prices and times.
The other five companies
PSA is one of six companies in the Hub. If PSA is not the right fit for a card or budget, you can compare Beckett, TAG, ACE, CGC and HiT in the same place, and you can mix companies in one submission.
How to prepare cards for grading
Pick the cards worth sending. Look at the corners, edges, surface and centring under a bright light, and set aside anything with creases, scratches or heavy wear, because those are unlikely to return a grade that justifies the cost.
Keep each card in a sleeve, and in a rigid holder if you have one, before you hand it over. In the Hub you choose the tier for each card, so you can send a valuable card on a faster tier and the rest on a standard one. You will get a submission number to quote at the counter, and your account then shows the batch and its status.
After the grade: keep it or sell it
A graded card can go straight into your collection, or you can list it. Sellers list slabs on MYNTED Auctions with the grade and company shown on the item, a flat 10% commission, and no listing fees.
